Privacy Policy - the basics

Having said that, a privacy policy is a statement that discloses some or all of the ways a website collects, uses, discloses, processes, and manages the data of its visitors and customers. It usually also includes a statement regarding the website’s commitment to protecting its visitors’ or customers’ privacy, and an explanation about the different mechanisms the website is implementing in order to protect privacy. 

 

Different jurisdictions have different legal obligations of what must be included in a Privacy Policy. You are responsible to make sure you are following the relevant legislation to your activities and location. 

What to include in the Privacy Policy

Generally speaking, a Privacy Policy often addresses these types of issues: the types of information the website is collecting and the manner in which it collects the data; an explanation about why is the website collecting these types of information; what are the website’s practices on sharing the information with third parties; ways in which your visitors and customers can exercise their rights according to the relevant privacy legislation; the specific practices regarding minors’ data collection; and much, much more.

My name is Miriam Iacopino,

I am a creative director and designer with a deep passion forupcycling and innovation in the fashion industry. My creative research revolves aroundsustainability, experimentation, and visual storytelling, with the aim of offering a personal andconscious vision of contemporary fashion.After earning my degree, I gained formative experience at SEP Jordan, where I had theopportunity to closely observe the production and social dynamics of the industry. I then chose topursue an independent path by founding IACSITE, my personal brand. Through this project, brought to life a creative vision that has also found space in the entertainment world: my collections have been worn by renowned Italian and international personalities.Over the past two years, I have promoted the brand through pop-up events in both Milan andNaples. One of the most significant moments of 2024 was being selected by 10 Corso Como for Seoul Fashion Week 24 in collaboration with Istituto Marangoni—an opportunity that strengthened my international outlook and my dialogue with new creative cultures.In parallel, I have worked as a freelance stylist for public figures and publications such as Grazia.it and Nasty Magazine, as well as a creative director for the Milan Fashion Tour runway shows, aplatform that supports emerging Italian and Israelian designers.I am currently seeking a new professional challenge that will allow me to grow further, work within dynamic and innovative teams, and contribute with my aesthetic sensibility, project experience,and proactive spirit.
